SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The rules are simple: I'll post one image, and the next poster will name it and give a short paragraph of information for a game (no need for stats, though). After that, he/she can post a new image or link to it.

The image can be a character or a location. It only needs to be inspirational.

Ready? Go!

Barsi the Mangler

Beyond the charming smile and fine clothes of Barsi is a killer. Disdaining the weakness of his fellow nobility, he spent years secretly taking part in the city's secret fighting pits. Barsi learned how to kill with his bare hands and the depths of his own bloodlust. Eventually the years of fighting bored him and he retired from the pits, but his skill and temper still remain. Many petty nobles have learned that to cross Barsi is to risk their health and as a few have learned, their lives.
Running: Dogs of WAR - Beer & Pretzels & Bullets
Planning to Run: Godbound or Stars Without Number

Very cool! That's what I'm talking about.

JamesV, are you going to post a picture?

The right thing to do then is to make it a link, not an image.

Okay, I'm gonna do a serious write-up on my own:
The patron spirit of the village of Esterberg's lowland woods, She has no name, but few creatures are as talked about as She. It is said that no one is truly a citizen of Esterberg unless they have left an offering of wine or flowers for Her. In return She 'kisses' the gift-giver, lightly touching Her mask upon their heads. The people's love for the spirit has gone so far as to ban logging in Her vale. The spirit's boon for their love has been great. The fruit trees there are always bountiful and and even the most hostile creatures stay away, seeing the potent will guarding the place.

Just to make it clear: descriptions should be like JamesV's (in other words, they can be used for RPG campaigns). :)
