SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Dr. Uriah Renton is genius in the ground-breaking field of robogenetics. Ever since he decided to softcode nanobots with unique rules and information, Dr. Renton has been crossing them, 'breeding them' as he puts it. His goal is to see what occurs when nanos with differing rules work together on the same projects. His findings on nano-to-macro evolution in robotics have helped revamp what was once a science steeped in tradition and paves the way for true Searle/Turing competent A.I. androids, capable of incredible feats of adaptation and reasoning.

This is a representation of how the inhabitants of Meldorian believe the great dragon of the mountains looks like, for no one who tried to see it has ever returned to tell the tale. Sometimes Xcandrian, as they call the beast can be seen soaring through the mountains, neverthless it's too far away to distinguish anything more than a fringe silouete.

While seemingly frail, the demons supernatural strength is evidenced by thier ability to not only carry thier traditionaly oversized Sythes of Doom(tm), but to wield them with deadly accuracy even while in flight.

as far as the below pick, note what seems like either a broken or missing bow string.
"Dr.Who and CoC are, on the level of what the characters in it do, unbelievably freaking similar. The main difference is that in Dr. Who, Nyarlathotep is on your side, in the form of the Doctor."

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.

On a battle field black with blood, a dying warrior - four arrows in a death grip - whispers "the killer of dreams", in your ears. Now this image haunts your dreams.

Yep, I just typed "fantasy" into google image search and it's one of the better (and work safe) images that came up.  I'm not totally sold on all of Brom's stuff, but some of it totally rocks. :)

David R. I've got my eye on another classic, so I'll toss another up if you don't mind. Myself I like the tatoo coming alive, but with the chain and the rest there are even more ways someone could go with it.

In Shadowrun, street gangers that do a good job for the Yakuza are rewarded with small perks. The smart ones, though, will try to obtain a magical tattoo by Master Ichiro Fujimoto. One of them is worth more than any gun or drug you can name...

This portrait of the  heroes of Evesham Field was scryed on the last day of the battle. It was the day they broke the stalemate by issuing a personal challenge to the Bandit King Marg for the possesion of Fallon's Hill. Though two of the mighty heroes fell in the duel and the last stood nearly broken from their wounds, Fallon's Hill was theirs. The loss of such a vital possition forced the Bandit Kings to retreat and saved the land from the horrors of a possible seige.

With most FedStar troops deployed in the galactic battlefront, backwater planets have been forced to hire bounty hunters and mercenaries to keep things civil. The pay isn't particularly good and corruption is common, but that's all the available manpower.

When the people chasing you catch up to where you are staying, you know your day isn't going well.  When you see that the people who have found you are a pair of twin albino's in burgandy armani suits, driving a performance sportscar and armed with high end blasters...  yeah... your day can't really get much worse.

Remember when you lost track of time? That wasn't your mind playing tricks with you, but the Time Faeries "borrowing" your imagination. They need a tiny amount of it to survive, but are careful not to endanger the victim. Evil faeries, of course, are the reason behind the recent increase in amnesia incidents.

The city of Innspach is a city under seige. At this very moment a motley assemblage of merchants, privateers, mercenaries, and even peasants have entered an alliance of convenience. Their motivation being to overthrow the junta installed by the nearby kingdom of Almsberry. If the rebels fail, the free city once known as "the pearl by the bay" will become the mere puppet of a landlocked king.
