SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

When the Lauperbot spectacularly failed in front of the media, the world finally learned what only tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists believed until then: that their pop stars were in fact clever cybernetic constructs.

It's a common 'Thrip tactic to use a hot nuke to cover up their entry, and keep the infantry out. The only solution then is to send in scouts to grab a visual confirmation, which is easier said than done.

The Holy Relics of Varla are kept in the Aram-kathor Abbey, where a small group of monks preserve them for the next time the kingdom needs such powerful weapons... or so says the story. The true relics are hidden *inside* the royal castle, right under the marble throne.

Quote from: Nicephorus...The robots rarely travel in groups (probably because most of the sources are too small to share) but some internal code keeps them from atacking each other.  Unless one of them loses all charge, then all bets are off...

That's close to the premise of one of my Games I'll Probably Never Get Around to Writing.

We had no idea what would happen, but we had to do something. Terrorists were threatening our homeland, immigrants were taking our jobs, video games were killing our youth. China, North Korea, Iran...so many enemies. So we did what we had to...

Remember that saying, about not waking the sleeping dragon? Well, I don't know how but we did. We actually woke up America. And boy, was it pissed off...

Yea, everyone thinks that angels are the good guys and devils are the bad guys. When they are in your backyard and just pulped your dog, the difference is moot. (Note to self: in the future, if you steal the gates of eternity, do not hide the pieces around town - it tends to attract powerful pests.)

Ok, since it doesn't seem that Nicephorus solved his uploading problems, I'll post:

Housemouse.

In the spirit of Bunnies and Burrows, Housemouse is a roleplaying game in which players assume the roles of mice, the true guardians of The House.  The mice must hide from The House's human occupants, avoid traps set by the humans, and protect The House itself from the malevolent and destructive cats...

No matter how great or small. No matter how humble or awesome. All things place great value on their Home, and will go to great lengths to return when apart from it.

The Da Costa family have always been linked to the sea. Their ancestors sailed across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, to fight in the Crusades and explore new lands for the greater glory of Portugal. Nowadays, they are the core of the Royal Scouts, charting the ultimate sea: deep space.
