This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I've just commited to virtual paper what I think is the most insane RPG table ever. Excluding the FATAL tables but they won't be published. It randomly selects a crime for your Defendant to have commited in Tough Justice. All of these crimes carried the Death penalty in 18th Century England.

Is the name 'Serious Headfuck' already taken for an RPG?

There's the little-known SF RPG "Sirius Headfuck."

I don't see how that list is such a serious headfuck.  It is, however, a pretty good list.

What possible reason could you have for doing so other than to go to commit some crime?

You could be an actor in a very racist play.

That seems to have been the argument. "Just look at 'im, a child of five knows he's up to something" as a hanging offense is, in my opinion, horrific, but the thinking behind it is not incomprehensible.

I've come across references that say the offense was actually "blacking the face or using a disguise whilst committing a crime". So, a little fairer than just hanging you for blacking your face at night, but I suppose you could still be hanged for wearing a kerchief while stealing an apple.

Hey I never said it was a historically accurate game.

Generally the whole thing is calculated to have some farcical fun with the period.

It's my most serious game but it's also one of my funniest.
