SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Nice idea but the site is a bit too cluttered.  May want to find a way to unclutter it.

The way I see it, the bigger it gets, the more likely it is to become a little less clunky.

Dr Rotwang!

Weird -- I went to the site and it displayed my true, real, actual location.  Ijoined...and it pegged me in Tempe, AZ.  I logged out and looked at the page as a guest, and THEN it showed me in Bloomington, IN again.

Apparently I live in Newcastle.  Which is at least five counties away.  Maybe ten.

It needs something sorting in the set up...

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.

I'd hazard a guess and say it automatically derives your location from your IP address using reverse DNS or a traceroute - hence the last hop it can see before you is the location it automatically feeds into the map.
So some of you are getting located by your ISPs nearest Point of Presence.

I don't think so.  It points to where I live, not where I work and have been to the site from.  It's probably just havign trouble parsing the address info.

Dr Rotwang!

I fixed it.  You have to fill in your location, see.

Now if only the password reminder email feature would work. I've only got my account partially set up and now I can't get back in because I've got oldfart disease. :(
