This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

5E: A list I didn't expect

Quote from: Warthur;774323So far as I can tell the main plan behind 5E has been to make a game which all of the people on the "consultant" list can sit around the same table and play without killing each other. An insanely overblown ambition, but they seem to have succeeded so far as I can tell.

That would be one hell of a webcast. ;o)

Quote from: Silverlion;773417No, he predates new school. His earlier work was for GURPS...

Which is why I recognized his name.

ANY game that has Hite, Ross, and RPG Pundit on their consultant list has got to be better than 4th edition Dumb & Drag....

I have a lot of respect for everyone on the Consultants list.

I'm only a bit sorry for those other than Zak and myself, that their significance may have ended up being overshadowed by the Incessant Stream of Bullshit.

Of course, on the other hand, I doubt most of them envy me or Zak just now.
