This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

As I'm gearing up to run my AD&D 1E game in Q2 of 2014, I'm looking for easy to prep and run old school adventures. Share with me the ones you dig. As long as they're OSRIC/1E compatible, it's coolios.
Rules and design matter
The players are in charge
Simulation is narrative
Storygames are RPGs

Exploderwizard

Is it important that they were released in 2013?
Quote from: JonWakeGamers, as a whole, are much like primitive cavemen when confronted with a new game. Rather than \'oh, neat, what\'s this do?\', the reaction is to decide if it\'s a sex hole, then hit it with a rock.

Possibly not, but the limitation might make the thread more interesting and keep it from being the usual recitation.
Wampus Country - Whimsical tales on the fantasy frontier

"Describing Erik Jensen\'s Wampus Country setting is difficult"  -- Grognardia

"Well worth reading."  -- Steve Winter

"...seriously nifty stuff..." -- Bruce Baugh

"[Erik is] the Carrot-Top of role-playing games." -- Jared Sorensen, who probably meant it as an insult, but screw that guy.

"Next con I\'m playing in Wampus."  -- Harley Stroh

Barrowmaze II (and I) are easy to pick up and run while also being great adventures.
Miniature Mashup with the Fungeon Master  (Not me, but great nonetheless)

I'm not too uptight with that. But for those here who follow such things, top stuff publushed in 2013 would be nice. I'll take anything good and 1e compatible, however.

I was fortunate enough to do some artwork for Barrowmaze II.  I have the hardback with the poster map and extras.  It's sweet.

AFS magazine #2 (ed. Scott Moberly @ Halls of Tizun Thane; technically released at the very end of 2012, this didn't arrive in my mailbox until early 2013; issue #4 was just published at the end of 2013, too)
AS&SH Players' Manual
BarrowMaze I and II by Greg Gillespie (also released late in 2012, I think?)
Dread Saecaroth by James Boney (Old School Road Games)
Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (DieCast Games)

In alphabetical order, my Top 5 OSR products in general are:

Bottle City by Rob Kuntz (Pied Piper, soon to be reprinted by Black Blade)
F1 The Fane of Poisoned Prophecies by Guy Fullerton (Chaotic Henchmen)
Knockspell magazine (Mythmere Games)
Monsters of Myth (First Edition Society)
OSRIC (perhaps unsuprisingly I prefer the BBP/UA edition)

Yeah, but who gives a fuck? You? Jibba?

Well congrats. No one else gives a shit, so your arguments are a waste of breath.

Not 2013 exactly but possibly useful.
Note that there are quite a few free adventures in these suggestions.

Also good luck with trying this out, it has long been to my to do list, but whenever I think about dming sth other than 3.5 or exalted I have a small panick attack.

I'll recommend Slaughtergrid, but your players better not be too uptight with "pleasurably vile" dungeon-crawling.

If adventures created for LL, which seems fairly compatible with 1e/OSRIC to me, are ok, then I suggest... this and this.

On a read-thru this impressed me greatly, and its on the list of things I want to run when I can.

I'm in a Barrowmaze game on the player side, and we've gotten about a year of play (granted, with some digressions) out of it without yet clearing it.

If "adventures" includes dungeons, I'll add Dyson's Delves to the list.  A couple of the keyed dungeons look cool.
