This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Any Great RPG Deals for Black Friday?

Quote from: soviet;602188Well, funny you say that. I'm in the UK so obviously we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but the media here have started using the term Black Friday occasionally. I don't think many shops have sales or anything but people are aware of the date. I think this awareness came from that incident a year or two ago where someone got trampled to death in a walmart (or possibly just from increased use of online shopping primarily intended for American customers).

There's a few of the bigger, worldwide shops, that do it, but... yeah, not many (And John Lewis will price match them anyway). Without the very long weekend to increase custom, there's not much point in doing it.

LoO looks great in PDF - it's got a clean, simple design that works very well on a tablet screen.
