KenzerCo is having "Hack Friday (http://www.kenzerco.com/index.php?cPath=111)" specials.

Palladium is still doing their Christmas Grab Bag (http://palladium-store.com/1001/product/XMAS-X-Mas-Surprise-Package.html), which is amazing and one of the best deals in gaming. Some of the obscure stuff I've asked for has been fulfilled, plus some surprises, too.

Lulu has 30% off (http://www.lulu.com/).

Paizo is also having a big sale (http://paizo.com/store/sale/blackFriday2012).

I took advantage of Apple's sale to get an eyeslate, upon which I will be putting some .pdf rulebooks, but my main reason to get it was for studying, not gaming.

Use the code BF15 at The Dice Shop (http://www.thediceshoponline.com/) for a 15% discount, if you spend £15 or more - they're a very decent store.

My RPG Other Worlds is available on Lulu as both a PDF and a softcover book. You can get a 30% discount by typing in the code REDEMPTIO.

Other Worlds is a universal system, light and storygamey, with loads of support for the standard roleplaying genres (not just fantasy and sci-fi but also horror, pirates, superheroes, transformers, etc) and a big emphasis on group worldbuilding. The pundit hates it :).

Here's a link: http://www.lulu.com/shop/search.ep?contributorId=1065931 (http://www.lulu.com/shop/search.ep?contributorId=1065931)

(Anyone that follows the link and buys the softcover, PM me and I'll email you the PDF too free of charge)

Black Friday isn't really a thing in this part of the world. Or, I believe, in most parts other than north america.

Dammit, now that I know about that link, I can't un-know it. No, I don't need hematite dice, but gods are they pretty. :-)

Ever since I got my tablet (a Samsung, not an Apple), I've been reading a lot more gaming eBooks. I went nuts on RPGNow the other day. I completely forgot to check if anyone was having Black Friday (or Cyber Monday) sales. I dunno what it is about the tablet format that makes me more likely to read books on it than on the PC.

It's not really a thing here in Canada either.  Just half-assed attempts to keep shoppers from crossing the border.

Well, funny you say that. I'm in the UK so obviously we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but the media here have started using the term Black Friday occasionally. I don't think many shops have sales or anything but people are aware of the date. I think this awareness came from that incident a year or two ago where someone got trampled to death in a walmart (or possibly just from increased use of online shopping primarily intended for American customers).

Black Friday began as a US phenomenon - the day after Thanksgiving in which everyone tries to get great deals on their Christmas purchases. But that said - any one can benefit from online sales. Id watch especially for tech products tomorrow (Cyber Monday).

It used to be that Black Friday began at midnight, but merchants ever hungry for money have started sales on Thanksgiving day.

The Palladium deal seems pretty neat.  As someone who has no Palladium and very little understanding of its lines, what would be a good comprehensive "wish list" that hits all the high notes?

Cheers

Well, what sort of games are you interested in? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/After The Bomb were great fun, and featured some great design/writing by Erick Wujcik.

We're currently discussing Palladium Fantasy 1e on another thread here, so you could try to ask for material relating to that. I think they still have some 1e books around.

Let's see....there's also Rifts, Robotech, Heroes Unlimited...I guess the question is, what sort of genres are you looking for? Do you like original artwork, that sort of thing? That'd probably make a difference.

If you can score a copy of Systems Failure, it's one of the best self-contained RPGs Palladium has ever done. Sort of an "alien invasion/survivalist" vibe.

Huuuuuuuuuuuuuge recommendation on Two-Fisted Tales. Simply the best pulp RPG out there.

There's a few of the bigger, worldwide shops, that do it, but... yeah, not many (And John Lewis will price match them anyway). Without the very long weekend to increase custom, there's not much point in doing it.

LoO looks great in PDF - it's got a clean, simple design that works very well on a tablet screen.

Thanks, that's great to know! The books look really great too, especially in full colour.
