This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The surprise table on page 62.  It's incorrect.  Is it fixed with this release.

Interestingly, they're listing Esdevium as the publisher.  Esdevium is the big UK/Euro distributor for game stuff, aren't they?

Quote from: RPGPundit;559582It doesn't seem to state which printing it is.  Would there be any way to tell?

in the original printings, on the page near the front with the Unicorn, it would say "revised edition, 1979"

almost everyone has the revised version, it is better, has more stuff. but if they reprinted the earlier version it would leave a lot of stuff out. Sounds like it is the revised from DDs note, and what you say is there.

ill be calling my FLGS as I  had asked them to get me a set....

That's something Amazon doesn't care about. They list the company they are buying the stuff from, even if it's not the publisher.
Swords & Wizardry & Manga ... oh my.

I guess I find it odd that Amazon US is buying these from a UK/Euro distributor, rather than a US distributor...

Well, this one doesn't have that on the page with the unicorn, so I'm even more confused now.

Nope. The surprise table is replicated exactly as it appears in my Dec 1979 revised copy.

I has my grubby little hands on them now too. :D

OK after going over them page by page with my originals, I can confirm that all interior original artwork is in place. There have been NO interior art substitutions.

Here, here and here on bookdepository.co.uk. You'll want to compare prices with bookdepository.com before placing any order.

ditto--my originals are still in good shape, and my gaming money could be better spent on other things, rather than WotC's lastest fig branch to the old schoolers, however neat.
