Spike

For your amusement, another possible way to run your game.

Quote from: CSI:40kInquisitor Sanz walked into the crime scene, stepping over the scattered gears and implements and puddles of blood like it was just another day at the office, which it was.  He pulled off his polarized visor, revealing a face that looked like it had been skinned and crudely pasted back on, which it had been for an Inquisitor's life is sometimes hard.

His acolytes had been busy for quite some time, taking picts of the shop, the victim, the odd sigils painted in blood.  These were all fed to Adept Rosiua, who was busy assembling a data-stack of the details that they could consult and cross reference later.  Assassin CXVII, Cuvy for short, was practically dancing around the body, pointing out details of the wounds her professional expertise made especially obvious, while Guardsman Gruvius stood by. Gruvius was dead, actually. Shot in the head by a sniper almost three years earlier, but his carefully preserved corpse was a talisman of some power to the team, his grim professionalism, remaining at his post long past death, spurring the rest of them to work even harder to make up for it.

The Inquisitor knealt down, looking into the body cavity stuffed with various gears and other, apparently non-functional machinary even as Magos Vulcanos prodded the devices with his mechadendrites.

"The watchmaker seems to have been the victim of a mad heretek." The Magos offered cautiously, knowing, even fearing... if such an emotion remained in his augmetic shell... what came next.

"Gentlemen, we have a murder." He stood, placing his visor back over his dead looking eyes. "And we are on the clock."
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.

Why does knowing (if there is one) the canon take preclude being able to do something else? I find that thoroughly bizarre.
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

I honestly doubt they detailed police boxes in any of the supplements - or should I say, I hope they did not, as other way madness lies.

I ain't trying to attack you here mate - just trying to say that you really shouldn't worry about canonical stuff too much - you seem to do. Do what you want to do - W40k universe is pretty vast and diverse. One planet has medieval level of technology, while you can have a Forge World where when you die in flesh, your consciousness is transported into another mechanical body.

Just put an Adeptus Arbitres Vox Box in a location, and you are good to go - PCs can communicate with Arbitres if needed, and the population still does not own voxes for the most part. From what I read of the campaign notes, you have a decent enough idea - don't allow purism to drown your creativity.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed
