This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I had no idea that A&E was still being published... !!!
I'd just assumed that it had gone the way of most other zines when the internet landed... plus, the cool shop where I got mine is a Phillipino hair salon now.
Man, Lee Gold was a true hero of my youth!

Does anyone here still contribute? What's it like nowadays? Is it still a bunch of different zines (with fanciful names) all tacked together on different colored paper?
I think I'm gonna have to write up something and send it in...

last issue i saw was in 2005 or so. An anniversary issue of some sort. Yeah -- it had all the different colored paper and simply stapled. Very retro.

I knew it was still around but I haven't seen a copy in about five years personaly.

I haven't contributed for, oh, 15 years or so. Not surprised it's still around, though; Lee's persistent.

I was wondering the same thing. It would pretty much be like a blog ring.
Maybe it has something to do with it being kind of a closed discussion... not open to ever wank to do drive-by insults. Most of the people reading it are contributing to it.
