This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

quick question: PDFs from WotC?

It was eleven months ago that WotC pulled all the sales of their PDF products.  At the time there was some speculation that they were going to be releasing the out-of-print stuff via their own online outlet.  Did that ever come to pass?

I have heard nothing about WotC re-releasing their PDFs.

They should, though. It would be another viable revenue stream for them.
"Meh."

Look at the thread "The Truth About Fourth Edition", and read the interview of Andy Collins. In there, they talk about it at some point. Spoiler: they are exploring "options", including POD, apparently.

...and thus WotC plays into the hands of the Lords of the OSR!

Exactly as they (the OSR Lords) had planned!

Bwahahahaha!
I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.

I am not convinced. I read that as "don't call us, we call you".
Swords & Wizardry & Manga ... oh my.
(Beware. This is a Kickstarter link.)

Oh, absolutely. I'm actually convinced this was BS.
