This sounds to me like they had some kind of other problem that they couldn't overcome in time and used the BLM thing as cover.

All I ask from a games company is that they produce games, all the relationship I want is that of customer and supplier.

Do they think their virtue-signalling will benefit them? It will only attract those parts of the mob who demand even higher purity standards. Here they are, grovelling and apologising for existing, a juicy target for the next wave of attackers to extract concessions from. And it will still be judged "Not good enough." The path to shame and dishonour goes ever downwards.

Instead theyd just have it shut down or otherwise sabotaged. I saw this in person during the 90s iteration of this stupid. And theyve threatened other cons in the last few years. Nothing is safe from these cultists.
