While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. The ratings for Trump Derangement Syndrome Network (CNN) plunged 44% in the first week after Trump left office.

Will they be able to find a new source of outrage to sustain them for the next 4 years?
Nope.

That's why they are using the 'impeachment' and other Trump stuff to keep his name in the news.  Wasn't it Bill Maher who lamented the fact that Trump has basically gone silent?  Then he put forth the idea that Trump must be secretly planning something with his followers.    ::)

The Biden admin has nothing to put forward and Psaki is so mentally deficient it is like watching a train wreck...

I mean, hell, I could answer some of the questions she's avoided, off the top of my head, with answers that would support Biden...

Republicans that trust traditional media is down to 18%

That's a decent proxy for how much support the traditional GOP really has among its voting base.  They survive only by pretending (successfully, so far) to be the lesser evil

Yeah, but that gravy train is done now, no matter what some neocons would have you believe.  I always registered based on which primary I wanted to vote in, so I get donation requests and surveys from both parties...

Usually, there is a steady stream, with increases near the elections...since the inauguration the RNC is completely off the chain about it, almost like a junkie without their fix.  The DNC wasn't near this bad right after 2016...It looks like Trump managed to wreck the party and without him to hate I don't think the DNC will hold it together either...

We might just get to credit Orange Man Bad with destroying both parties before it is all said and done... ;D

I was hoping Trump would run silent for a while. Starve the media industrial complex of ginned up outrage and watch them flail.

I seem to recall an article in the past few days mentioning that CNN's ratings were tanking since the Biden administration began.

Turns out that AOC, for all her talk about nearly being murdered (and implicating Republicans like Ted Cruz), was not in the actual Capitol building during the riot. She was in an adjoining building of the complex, and the people that scared her were the police.  ::)

BTW, AOC reminds me a lot of people like Anita Sarkeesian and maybe even Zoe Quinn, the bitchiness disguised as "social justice", and hyperbole around their fear for their own safety etc.

She's also a rape-enabler by her own admission, apparently...

She claims she was sexually assaulted years ago but never informed anybody and won't name her attacker.  Who knows how many women have been assaulted since then.

Most likely she's exaggerating that account as well.

Yep. It's the reason I'm here. The crafting of threat narratives during the Atheism Plus days got me spiraling down several rabbit holes.

AOC wasn't just in another building (that was never breached), she claimed she thought pro-Trump attackers were breaking into her office an hour before anyone even breached the Capitol (the other building).

The leftist scum are completely correct about insurrectionists coming to hang them...
...they just got the date wrong.

Who knew they could see into the future?

As for AOC lying yet again, how is this surprising coming from the idiot who was crying about an empty parking lot for her border fence photo?

Meanwhile, Bank of America decided to skip all that silly 'subpoena' and 'search warrant' business and just start turning information over to the FBI -- whether people were actually involved in the 1/6 peaceful protest* or not.

Fourth Amendment? Never heard of it. Doesn't apply when a big tech or big bank corporation decides to cuddle with the feds before fucking you in the ass.

* You don't like this? Fuck you. We just spent a year watching 'peaceful protests' that somehow always had riots, looting, and arson. Turnabout is fair play.

"Defendants include Elizabeth Duke, who is being sought as a fugitive, Laura Whitehorn, Linda Evans, Marilyn Buck, Susan Rosenberg, Timothy Blunk and Alan Berkman, all of whom are incarcerated for other crimes, according to a Justice Department spokesman."

Then we should also mention the 1971 bombing of the capitol by the Weather Underground, also a splinter of the left wing Students for a Democratic Society... Leftist attacks on the government go far back and are far more extensive than any right wing attacks here in the US at the very least.
Ah I always get the bombings mixed up.  The underground were connected to all sorts of stuff, but in the end... when a couple of murdering bank robbers can produce a radical son that is raised by their cohorts and becomes the DA of San Fran, I guess they win even from prison.

However you weren't wrong, turns out Susan Rosenberg is now "employed" by Thousand Currents, which does fundraising for BLM.
