SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

Let's hear about The RPGPundit...

Funny... this is the first time I've heard anyone under 60 say geezer.

Then again... maybe I just wasn't listening.

I'm about to be 34 years old. I have a degree in psychology with a minor in fine art. I'm a copywriter/PR Jack of All Trades currently employed in the public health field. I used to be a newspaper staff writer, prior to that a magazine writer, somewhere during that time I also worked as a marketing and PR director at a small publishing house. Before I got into the writing thing, I worked about 6 years in mental health, first at a State Hospital, and later at a private, non-profit adult psych facility.
The rest you can pretty much learn at my blog. Oh, I'll also be hosting an interview with Pundit there pretty soon.

Meanwhile, Pundit?

I'm always second :gloomy: just like my senior high school year.

Quote from: UmaSamaI turned 21 two weeks ago, I guess that makes me one of the younger around here, if not the youngest.:p
I'm a computer science student (a tech nerd :evillaugh: ), about to finish my second year.

And I know how old the :pundit: is, but I wont tell you 'cause I fear his magical powers :respect:

Dude, you may be young, but you're ugly and bald. And smoking pipes doesn't make you look any younger, Mister Ed.

And, as for the owner, he's actually 74, but he looks younger. About 10 minutes younger.

I'm 24 myself, if anyone wants to now. Young and sexy.:fat:

I'll be joining you shortly (24 October).  Less than two weeks left of sweet 35-ness left.  :(

As for what I do, I have PhD in philosophy, and am a lecturer in philosophy at Trinity College (University of Dublin).

I'm 24, and I'm working on my MA here in Southern Illinois.  I'm working on a degree in History, btw.  I've done may things in my young life: mostly manual labor and some tech support.

Apparently Pundit is verbose about everything except his age. Odd, since one would assume it's only 2 digits.

4e definitely has an Old School feel. If you disagree, cool. I won\'t throw any hyperbole out to prove the point.

Is everyone completely sure that his material for his Rome Immortals game is from research, and not from personal experience?

I'm not, it happens to be that I know the Pundit personally.:emot-ssh:

Quote from: mythusmageQuantity has it's own quality.

Yeah, well, you can spend a lifetime pressing a bunch of cr*p, and it will never become a diamond. And, if you ask me, I'd rather be the owner of a little diamond than of a huge pile of sh*t.
The only quality in quantity is that you get to say "Hey, I've got loads of whatever".
