Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that title not translated as "Dear Mother.."? That just makes it all the more freaky.

I have several CDs of this guy. He´s awesome!
He has serious issues with his eyes, though.

His voice is/was unmatched in contemporary Germany. He´s definitely on par with Tom Jones.

Well, there is no debate over musical taste, is there?
He sings a lot of german folk songs, which you can´t hear mostwhere else. And his voice is boomingly brilliant. Nobody takes him serious, he´s sort of a trash icon.
His pop songs, like the one above are really bad stuff, though.

Check out his voice, It´s a bit like hee-haw campiness:

His voice isn't that bad, but he's got a very limited range. Might be an artifact of the songs, but it's all done in the same drone. I'm quite fond of some German folk songs, probably comes from trying to actually learn guitar years ago.

I have to say one thing in his defense that at least he doesn't go from folk to communist songs in one breath. That always bothered me about the other "folk" singers we've got here. And he's no francophile pussy, either.

Settembrini

QuoteMight be an artifact of the songs,

It is, he has a huge range, which can be seen in the first video, in Enzian he shows some of his abilities at the end of the chorus.
He was a trained opera singer AFAIK.
