This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'd love to know people's thoughts about how this power was handled, if they like it or not, etc.  I tried to put a lot of material into the design of this power that would create all kinds of potential adventuring hooks.

I love it. It's a selling point of the game when I pitched it to friends. World-crossing stories have been favorites of mine for a very long time, back at least to when I discovered Piper's paratime and Zelazny's Roadmarks, not to mention the dimension-spanning elements of Jim Starlin's original Warlock run for Marvel Comics. The cost and use of the levels of world-walking seem very appropriate for the results they deliver, and it's been a big hit with my player bunch.

The one thing I'd like to see is perhaps a bit more on options for how the experience of the roads goes: how long in terms of travel time from one realm to the next? Are they the equivalent of a few feet "long" along the road, or a few thousand, or a few miles, or something else? About how many different openings are there likely to be to worlds that aren't specific deities' domains? Stuff like that. We're evolving our own answers, but I'm curious if you had anything in particular in mind. (Or, I guess, if you already wrote it up and I missed it.)

Those are all awesome questions; and you know, if you repost them over in the Q&A thread, I'd be forced to answer them. ;)

Thanks for your sharing on here!
