Who are you using as an antagonist in your latest game?

Just looking to see who other GMs are using as the main antagonist in their games.  I have played in way too many games where the plot revolves around a few main players:

1. ZOMG Brand is back and he's pissed off!
2. Uncle Osric/Finndo are still hanging around and they don't take kindly to the offspring of Oberon...
3. Delwin/Sand are using the spikards to control the universe.

Any ideas or comments are welcome.
Thanks!!

I have used in the past:

4. Corwin's Pattern is messing things up; it either has to be destroyed or fixed.
5. Dragons.
6. Chaosians.
7. Offspring of Ygg (such as the staff that Corwin cuts, and grows into a tree near his pattern)
8. Random-as-asshole
9. Llewella

I have used:
  • Chaosi vendetta against Fiona/Bleys betrayal
  • Chaosi apprentice to Dworkin's original work in Chaos
  • Chaosi assassin who briefly impersonated Deidre during Patternfall
  • Son of deceased Osric
  • Son of deceased Eric
  • Chaosi ex-lover of Oberon
  • Son of Deela, brother to Dalt
  • various dragons
  • original Enemy of Courts of Chaos
  • various Chaosi vendetta of Chaosi killed on vendetta (recursive expanding)

Currently, I'm running one (different system, same setting) where the parents are antagonists to their kids purely because they're parents.

We've just started (and, it being PBP we'll probably flounder and fade), but even in thinking ahead, I am not imagining anybody who sets out to be an antagonist.  They're all trying to help :D

Originally using an amber court nobleman as a power hungry baddie, but currently using the PCs Construct as an antagonist...
It's almost too easy, since the players don't know yet and they keep dumping points into it. They get help from it but are also constantly attacked by it.

As a side note I am also throwing the whole Delwin-is-Evil-OMG-Spikards thing into the mix.

Constructs are just fun because, like everyone else, they want more power and are tough to part with since they offer so many advantages. :D
Running:
Dungeon Crawl Classics (influences: Elric vs. Mythos, Darkest Dungeon, Castlevania).
DCC In Space!
Star Wars with homemade ruleset (Roll&Keep type system).

LOL

Yes, that works too.

In the next game I run, there's unlikely to be an actual antagonist.

Instead, there's going to be multiple criss-crossing lines of personal interest among the Elders, and (since they are inhibited from acting directly) the PC's are their obvious agents.

That is just brilliant!  I generally just disallow constructs, but this idea may change my mind...

In the game I am currently running, I picked a minor character on the Chaos side of things acting as an agent for an unrevealed powerhouse (read: unknown offspring of Oberon).

I also plan to throw in a number of sub-plots, as my players have been really good at coming up with backgrounds that lend themselves to create more trouble.

I haven't decided who the antagonist for my upcoming game will be.  In the past I have used a resurrected (sort of) Eric, a former PC, a Chaosian noble, Deirdre, a trump construct and some dudes from a Dreamlands sort of place who used Tir-na Nog'th as their gateway into Amber.

Once I get a look at all the new PCs I'll have an idea of who or what to put up against them.
