Title: Nearly 15 years
Post by: finarvyn on May 12, 2023, 11:09:23 AM
June marks 15 years since Erick Wujcik passed on June 7, 2008. I was thinking about ADRP and how much fun it's been over the decades, and how so few people seem to talk about the game any more. Very sad.

Erick was an amazing person, with so many design credits in his career. The few times I got to talk to him are treasured memories. He had so many cool ideas and I wish a lot of this material was out there for others to share. Most of the boards where he posted have faded away. Most of the campaign pages once all over the internet have vanished or haven't been updated. This was one of the few surviving boards where Erick posted, and even this place is pretty quiet.

Anyone planning a game in honor of Erick in June? I plan on re-reading my collection of Amberzines and I may run something for my home group, since a lot of those players haven't experienced Amber.

I had not considered it specifically in response to the date, but I have a back burner Amber campaign that I want to get back to and embellish with AI art.

I have tried to write a trump fanbook project but have been largely unsucesfull with it. ALso im using AI photos too in it. I wanted to make more fanbooks but real life got in the way of it.

Maybe ill do a one shot scenario in the vein of a Blood and Shadow short story by john wick to celebrate the anniversary. Its pretty slick imho.

A while back I wrote of a tarot powered solo game tool for Amber and as part of that I have a 'road map' for a lot of my trumps that I want to make.  I just need to hack out a card template and see about firing up SD and choosing an appropriate model/prompt template.
