Lords of Olympus Friday
How is this, for thoughts as to a campaign setup: someone has killed a Primordial, one of the real, elder primordials that shouldn't really be killable, but the only reason why anyone in the game knows about it is that some of the other Primordials have said so; because when the primordial died, everything to do with what they embodied disappeared throughout the universe.
What was the concept that was completely lost? Why was this primordial slain? By who? Why can't the other Primordials tell who did it? What did the killer want?
Will he strike again? Is his goal the end of all things?
Or did this act of Realitycide serve his purposes in some other way, as part of some bigger plan?
The PCs, along with everyone else in the pantheon, are called on to investigate with any means they can; but maybe one (or more) of them has some kind of special connection to either the murderer or the victim that will end up embroiling them in the heart of the crisis...

I like it. It's a classic and simple murder mystery plot, but with a cosmic level of significance. Very cool.

It hasn't been played. It might be, someday.
