Looks like the (mostly) Warhammer news site Bell of Lost Souls put BoF at the top of their brief ttrpg product round up:

Don't think they've covered Pundit's stuff before.

Quote from: Omega on Today at 12:52:04 AMIt'd be nice if their search engine actually worked.

It's called #Google, and it works better there than here and other forums. But this is getting off topic. Point is where discussions take place is far less important than what is being said.

First and foremost, fuck WoTC, Amen.
Second, I still love me some d20 Modern and D&D 4E.
Lastly, for any publishers thinking about waiting a year or more for an SRD or license:

Spoiler
Stop waiting for permission, nut up or tit up, and write your own clone in your own language. The rules/mechanics are not copyrightable. Don't use their language -- that's the ONLY thing the license is good for, giving you permission to use their LANGUAGE. Roll up your sleeves, and do the work yourself. Create and publish your own ORIGINAL work with any license you want (or none at all if you like).

Quote from: Wisithir on May 07, 2024, 09:56:50 PMConceptually, I like the split. A type of critter may be large or small compared to the base line, but a given critter of the type may be exceptionally small or large. A "giant" dwarf or a "diminutive" giant can be built as easily as an average dwarf and an average giant.

Actually, that brings up another powerful point: these splits are coded by points so they work for making monsters too - which also have their own Traits. Further, if you wanted, you can give your races monster-trait and you'd immediately know what the point cost is.

There's Leagues of Adventure, too. I have it on my shelf but haven't done much reading through it. The buzz is good, though.

Quote from: Monero on May 02, 2024, 10:03:18 AMThe TTRPG community has ALWAYS been about kindness and human dignity. It's just older creators/players didn't have to do performative nonsense in order to gain social media dopamine hits.

It does suck that you have to do that. But for whatever reason, there are a lot of people on this site who seem to feel they have to keep congratulating each other for saying the same tired and basically baseless things.
