For a moment, you don't hear a response to the gentle rapping on her chamber door.  Then you hear a gruff voice from behind the door, "Who there?"

Kagan accompanied Semina, but he stays behind, making sure nothing happens to her. He will not provoke the Ogress in any way, unless harm is done to anyone.

"Milady," Semina gulps back the fear that creeps inside for a moment. "It is Semina, the one who woke you before.  My companions and I are trying to help recover items of value to you."  Semina pauses for a moment hoping the Ogre's memory is still intact from their encounter no so long ago.

"It is I who needs your help now mistress.  Our party has run into a bit of a snag with your brothers loyal companions.  They refuse to let us pass, and therefore we are unable to continue our search for your missing things." Semina stands closer to the door with her back against the wall in case she charges out after her. "Their loyalty lies with Richard, and I thought you might help them see we mean no harm."  

Semina stands ready to run if the Ogre's mind has entered another dimension.

"Oh, you found my things!  This is wonderful news!  Please, come in, the door is open!" she calls from within the room

Kagan speaks as he steps in the room: "I am glad you found your things, Milady."

A little voice inside his head tells him these "things" could be dangerous.
He stops at the door frame. "What are they?"

OOC: Can I see her? What is she holding?

She isn't holding anything, your party was going to look for her spellbook and a pouch with some components

"Please, bring them to me quickly, so that I may render this curse void!"  she says with no disguised joy in her voice.

Semina grabs a hold of Kagan, and shakes her head to gesture he should go no further.  "I think the cat-men are right about her state of mind," she whispers to Kagan.  "She remembers that we're looking for her items, but can't distinguish if we have them or not.  This confusion will most likely make her angry, so our next words need to be spoken carefully."

Semina opens her eyes wide with concern and a bit of fear.

"We will bring them as soon as we possibly can, Milady. You have my word on it."

Listening to Semina's advice, and feeling this is indeed a very delicate situation, Kagan slowly backs out of the room. Once outside, he adds in a low voice to Semina: "It looks like we will not get the help we expected from her until we find her things. Let's go back to the guards' room."

"You... you... you don't have my implements?" she asks, her voice on the edge of breaking.  "I asked you to get my things to remove this curse.  Why have you come back to me without those items?"  She shakes her head for a moment, but seems unable to clear the cobwebs.

"You not bring my things!  Where my things?  Why you come back without things!!"  Her voice is getting huskier and louder as the disappointment turns to anger.  "You no have things I need!  Me need the...  the...  thing to change!  Why you not bring them?"  Her fist involuntarily smashes the tea cart next to her to flinders.  She turns in horror and surprise at the ruins of the cart and delicate tea service and collapses to her knees howling in pain and anguish.

"Now look what you made me do!  That tea...  tea...  thing was very old!  Been in family for many years!  You made me destroy because you not bring my things!"  She brings her fists down together into the debris and scatters it further.  "You not want to help!  You never want to help!  You just want to taunt me!  You no better than others!"  She stands to face you, her face a mask of pure rage.  She reaches over and tears a heavy post from the bed, the wood screaming and splintering while the upper frame sags from the missing support.

"Now you pay for trying to stop me!  You stole my things, and I get them back from you!  You will tell me where they are!!"  she shouts while hefting the post and advancing towards you.

Out in the hallway, the cat-men disappear, almost as if by magic.  You hear the door to their room slam shut and the thud of a heavy timber bar falling.

"Kagan," Semina sounds off at the half-orc. "We need to subdue her now!  Do you have a spell prepared?"  While awaiting Kagan's response Semina will move into the room opposite of Janet's position.

Semina's plan is to dance around the room to keep the Ogre distracted, while awaiting help from her other companions.  If the Ogress comes within an arm's length then Semina will use her martial arts training to apply subdual damage.

Kagan nods nervously, and closes his eyes. He tries to feel the matrix of energies infusing, suffusing this whole place. His mind follows the threads, the divine patterns of Creation. His hands reach mentally to seize them. He mumbles something. His fingers stretch, his palm extended outwards, towards Jeanette.

He opens his eyes. A sudden sweat rushes down his face as he yells fieverishly: "By the Gods, stop where you are, Jeanette d'Amberville!"
