Okay this an OOC thread, that describes your Kaer.
Known as Kaer PorBajin it was constructed after your people struck a deal with the Theran's, whom according to Legends were the mightiest of the Ancient Empires. Constructed primarily from Orkish laborers the Kaer was filled at the last possible minute and sealed. Luckily your peoples time down here has been relatively uneventful for the last few hundred years-there has never been a confirmed breach of your Kaer's perimeter, but there have been a few strange incidents her and there.
Your people quickly learned the value of cooperation, and equality between the races and have all but abandoned the violent arts for the pursuit of finer arts-poetry, sculpting, painting, performance arts, craftsmanship, magic etc....and for the last two hundred years things have been...well boring. You live in your artificially lighted Kaer, surviving off a steady diet of kelp, mushrooms, hybrid wheat's and grains, and the few animals your Kaer has managed to keep alive in captivity. (Mostly chickens, sheep, goats-but you guys have also managed a pretty good fishery as well.)
Population wise your Kaer is home to nearly two thousand people, of which about ten percent are Adepts, less than twenty of those (About 1% of the Kaer's population) have a circle higher than 2nd Circle.
Maps to shortly follow.
Feel free to ask questions, any questions you may have. If it isn't obvious there's little chance you don't know each other, at least in passing. Pretty much everyone knows everyone. I'll have a list of major NPC's in your Kaer shortly.
Major Personalities in the Kaer- Navic the Wise-Human-Male-approximately 60 years of age, and a high circle Wizard and Elementalist
- Kalf Ironhand-Ork-Female-Warrior, and leader of the Kaer's small security forces
- Moriz Knutson-dwarf-male-head of the Kaer's agricultural, and engineering, and also a midlevel Weaponsmith
- Thork-Troll-Male-Swordmaster, and Lore Keeper, Thork guards the Kaer's few magical treasures, and the Kaer's collective treasury
- Amon the Fisher-human-male-in charge of the fisheries. Not known to be an adept
- Grisha-elf-female-dance instructor, and actress.
The major decisions in the
Kaer are made by the Council of Peers, which consists of nine men and women elected to office once every ten years. Currently the following people sit on the council:
- Navic the Wise, the current head of the council Navic has held office for nearly thirty years now.
- Grisha, the longest holder of office she has sat on the council for two hundred years.
- Moriz Knutson, who has held office for sixty years-he often pushes to expand various projects into the Kaer, especially infrastructure related projects.
- Minas Harker, (Human, Male, 30) recently elected Minas has been pushing for the Kaer to send forth an exploration party.
- Jron'Nak-this Ork farmer has also just recently been elected, and although he often disagrees with Minas, he does agree that they should send forth an exploration party.
- Brann-(Human, Male, 59)this stout farmer has held office for twenty years, and fears the outside world greatly, he is staunchly conservative in all his decisions
- Samira--(Human, Female, 45) A painter, and a skilled artist Samira has designed several wonderful items!
- Hork-this Ork sees the value in hard work, and his blacksmithing skills are valuable to all.
- Torin Proud, (Human, Male, 35)-also recently elected this man is often aloof, and tends to keep to himself.
More will be added as we create them!

A quick note, comrade: 1% of 2000 is 20.
