Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

*Problem should now be fixed. However, character creation would be entirely on me, so I'm gonna write, write and write some more.*

*I found a rather large problem during self-playtesting. Withdrawn until fixed. Notice will be posted.*

I'm planning on doing an online Alpha playtest of Baseline RPG. The setting is alternate Earth fantasy, with magic being part of ordinary life - Yon peasant probably doesn't have a magic sword, but he probably does know how to waggle his fingers and start a fire and other such tasks.

There's a site up Here; although it's scanty at the moment, you can get an idea of character design and a few setting details.

Please be aware that the rules are currently spread across a few dozen files and my brain and are incomplete; making a full character will require a lot of GM (That's me) participation - And will also impel design creation, which is a fancy way of saying that I'll also have to add things, as the social and profession system is one thing I'll be 'dynamically improving throughout the feedback process', which is a fancy way of saying 'Not really there'. :D

There will be a NDA; probably just something like  'Don't steal my stuff; don't rip me off'.

I've got a couple preliminary 'yesses' and will be taking no more than 5 people.
The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

...Maybe this would have been better in the Play-By-Post forum? Could a mod move it, please?

Problem needs to be fixed. However, there doesn't seem to be all that much enthusiasm for playing a game that's in pre-alpha, so I'll be writing up the next revision and posting when it's done.
