This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Thanks for the Actual Play reports! They provide a great way to get a glimpse into what the author does with the setting at the table and how the players interact with it.

Quote from: Saladman;819358That'll be a more profound question when the settings been out longer than two weeks.

Oh come on! Two weeks is plenty of time!

Actually, thanks for noting that. I didn't know the setting was just released into the wild. I had assumed it was a Kickstarter that finally entered retail.

No problem. I tried to make the setting as 'gameable' as possible. Apart from the introductory first-person narrative everything else is really tables for generating rumours and locations for populating hex maps. A DM will still have to do quite a bit of work putting it all together - it's not a run-out-of-the-box type thing. But it should be much more usable than the 2nd edition era TSR settings, for example, which were often really just lots and lots of fluff.

There was no Kickstarter mainly because I'm fully aware that I'm a massive flake and would end up letting backers down!

Buy Yoon-Suin, a campaign toolbox for fantasy games, giving you the equipment necessary to run a sandbox campaign in your own Yoon-Suin - a region of high adventure shrouded in ancient mysteries, opium smoke, great luxury and opulent cruelty.

Bought the PDF and I'm finding this part fun, just dipping in and watching it unfold.

Thank you for including morale scores and treasure type!
Yeah, but who gives a fuck? You? Jibba?

Well congrats. No one else gives a shit, so your arguments are a waste of breath.

What would a monster be without them?
