Title: Xanth
Post by: James McMurray on April 16, 2007, 06:34:33 PM
ciado's thread got me thinking about Xanth, Piers Anthony's world where everyone has a magical power ranging from the ability to put colored spots on chickens to the ability to turn into anything you can imagine. Does anyone know if there was ever a Xanth RPG made? The actual world full of puns might be too much for me to take (although I've got a guy in my group that would probably wet himself with glee over it). But the general idea and slightly divorced from the punishment could be a cool place to game.

Never heard of a Xanth game which, now that you mention it, seems like an odd oversight. I really liked the first few books, but it didn't have the staying power with me that discworld did/does.
