This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Worst RPG name?

Ahhh yes, the eternal debate: should I use an avatar that accurately represents my actual personality (viz. Black Adder), or an avatar that accurately represents my, er, um, ...
:mischief:
... that appeals to many other RPG fans.

Dead Inside: the roleplaying game of loss and redemption.

I actually LIKE THE GAME.

But never looked twice at it for almost a year.

Because of the title.

If I ever write "Bad Game Marketing 101" I think I'd call it "Dead Inside Part 2: How to make your game sound really depressing".

Quote from: AkrasiaJust read 'OGL' as 'ogle'.

So 'OGL Ancients' becomes 'ogle Ancients', i.e., looking at Athena in a lewd manner.

So OGL Horror becomes...Old One tentacle porn?

I've never even given it a look solely based on the title. It makes me react thusly:

Agreed there. Dead inside is a beautiful game that is actually full of hope, but it sounds like a game about sociopaths.

Quote(I vaguely recall a game, from very old Dragon magazines, called 'Spawn of Fashan'.  Thats a pretty cappy name too.)

I've been trying to get a copy of Spawn of Fashan forever.
