This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Oh that sounds lovely. I can hear the plague blisters pop from here.

To New Axbridge and Roanoke I think I will add a modified Lovecraft country (with Chaos in place of the Mythos) and the Shudder Mountains sandbox from DCC RPG.

Not sure yet what pieces and parts I might add to the old empire.

I would totally use Zweihander to play a fantasy/horror game set in 1500s North America, where anything past ten miles inland from the beaches is the "far west" and the reason the Natives tend to be kind of hostile is to keep those strange-hatted palefaces from upsetting something terrible lurking under the oaks and pines...

EDIT: I would also use it for a dragon-slaying treasure-hunting dungeon romp, nyeah nyeah nyeah!

I suppose that, given your name, that outcome is not totally unexpected. :D

Actually, running Zweihander with the minis and dungeon dressing from HeroQuest the boardgame and the old Warhammer Quest sounds like a fine idea. Build a world and handle overland travel Might Empires the boardgame. Hmmm....

I could also see using the world of Talisman the boardgame as inspiration for a Zweihander campaign.
