This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Holy Shit.

Jeff, words fail me.

That's not an "adventure." It's like a GM Companion, a setting book and a bunch of adventures rolled into one comprehensive and Truly Scientific whole. Astounding. And the writing is very good. And the production values. The art, the typography...

Thanks for the kind words, Pierce.  I actually got up early every day of June, excepting today, worked at length over weekends, spent my lunche hours on it, and generally squeezed in a paragraph or two whenever humanly possible.  The last couple of days, when the adventure was done but the layout was giving me hassles, were actually the worst.  Writing it was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.  Turning it into a presentable PDF was a lot of work with not so much fun attached.

Allow me to say the pdf is awesome. Hilarious and captures the gonzo tone perfectly.

Ha ha ha! The random star-shaped buildings in the spaceport are as genuine old school as you can get. :D I will have to buy the LULU book while it is available.

That is note-perfect 1980. Maybe '81. So frickin' awesome - you win t3h intarweb. The only thing missing is the cheap beige binding. Where'd you find an old typewriter, or is that some magical Word font I'm unfamiliar with?

It's a font. I've seen a lot of similar ones out there.

4e definitely has an Old School feel. If you disagree, cool. I won\'t throw any hyperbole out to prove the point.

There's a lot of screwed up* typewriter fonts on the internet.  The one I used happens to be called Ghostwriter.  My final choice for font was between either that or Mom's Typewriter, but the latter is less readable in print form.

*I believe the proper term is 'stressed'.
