SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Where do You Get Gaming News/Info on New Products?

I'm looking to find out where people get their gaming news. I know of a few sites, but there HAVE to be more - podcasts, twitter folks, blogs, news sites, online magazines - any of these fit my question.

Also, how do you hear about new products coming out? From places like the chat here? Other online communities? Online magazines? Other places?

I'd really like to try to find more places to get more current on my info.

Thanks for any info you can give me!

RSS feeds for the main RPG forums. This forum, the TRO at RPG.net. Those are my only two, but I'm sure there's something analogous on other forums like Story Games, EnWorld, the Forge, or whatever else you might go to(I don't, but you might). The two I keep up with keep me abreast of like 80% or more of the new stuff coming out just from browsing thread titles. All of the releases from major and middling companies, as well as a ton of indie stuff as well.

My second source is the occasional trip to publisher sites for companies that make games I already love. I go to these to find out about new products coming out for my favorite game lines from the source, and sometimes stumble across interesting new projects being worked on by these companies I already like and trust.

I would rarely ever intentionally use another method for RPG news, especially not podcasts or Twitter. Any news I get by those means is purely accidental. Like a podcast I listen to for entertainment purposes mentioning a game I hadn't heard of, or a friend tweeting about an RPG they like that I hadn't heard of either. But such instances are incredibly rare. Actually, in the latter case it's entirely nonexistent. I'm the one who always baffles my friends with info about games they never heard of, not the other way around.

Mainly from forums and blogs.  This is a pretty good news site still-

I work at a game store.

Between the work computer's links and the 5 or 6 forums I either belong to or lurk on - I hear plenty of news and rumors.

Oh yeah, there is the works at a game store thing. Sometimes I do hear some news before it gets out to the rest of the gaming world.  There are also times I hear the real story about what happened with some game companies 5 or 10 years ago.

Same. Almost exclusively, in fact, from reading reaction threads.

Forums like this one. Pundy's blog and others. Sometimes company web sites, but not usualy.

Aside from the odd White Wolf book, I mostly buy stuff from WotC. I get my News/Info primarily from WotC's site, with some things from message boards and blogs when they get a scoop.

WotC is the only company I really follow. Anything else is generally an impulse buy of something I see in a store.

Not true, I don't do that.
