This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What out of print RPGs do you like to run?

While I know many people only want to run games that are in print there are some people who will run out of print games.

What out of Print games do you like to run?

I would love to run a game of the James Bond 007 RPG from Victory Games.  I think the system is great and ahead of its time.

Kaz

I'm not really running it now or in the recent past (moved a few times in the last coupla years so, no one to RP with) and when I did it always seemed to be a one-shot or reasonably short.

Werewolf: The Wild West.

Every time I ran this game (never played) I always had a super blast and unless my players were lying, they did, too. In fact, if pushed to run a oneshot tonight, impromptu, that's the game I'd grab.
"Tony wrecks in the race because he forgot to plug his chest piece thing in. Look, I\'m as guilty as any for letting my cell phone die because I forget to plug it in before I go to bed. And while my phone is an important tool for my daily life, it is not a life-saving device that KEEPS MY HEART FROM EXPLODING. Fuck, Tony. Get your shit together, pal."
Booze, Boobs and Robot Boots: The Tony Stark Saga.

Akrasia

I'd love to run Rules Cyclopedia D&D again, but I doubt that it'll happen in the near future.  Maybe someday ...

I'm also a big fan of MERP and Rolemaster 2e.  (I guess since 'Rolemaster Classic' is being released by ICE, RM2e is no longer 'out of print'.)

I'd be interesting in trying out the old TSR 'Conan' game (which, despite being extremely rare these days, may be possible thanks to this project).

Played a little Star Frontiers... well mostly just the ship combat.

Aos

V&V is still my supers game of choice. I have M&M but I've decided I'm not smart enough to play it. Besides that, V&V  character gen has the power spread between pcs that you see in comics, you can get everything from Superman to Robin. Those in search of balance don't like it, but I always have. Plus Jeff Dee's artwork is really keen- in the V&V book, anyway, not so much elsewhere.
You are posting in a troll thread.

Metal Earth

Cosmic Tales- Webcomic

C.W.Richeson

Tons and tons of them.

oWoD and Nobilis immediately come to mind.  Blue Planet!  Transhuman Space!

B/X D&D, Cybergeneration, Dragonfist, Hong Kong Action Theatre, Mage: The Ascension 2nd Edition, Metamorphosis Alpha to Omega, Swords of the Middle Kingdom, TMNT and Other Strangeness, and Vampire: The Dark Ages.

Dr Rotwang!

Traveller, MegaTraveller and Star Wars. I gots an itch to run AD&D 1st Edition, and RC D&D, too.

There's an excellent thread on RPGnet at the mo' wherein a number of players have rediscovered the glories of the old TSR Conan game. Their enthusiasm was enough for me to dig out the old boxed set and give it a fresh appraisal.

It's fucking superb. Just the kind of ruleset I've been searching for to run pulp fantasy games for years now, and all the while it was sitting under my nose. I'll be setting up a game as soon as I can.

Other than that-- B/X D&D, Tunnels & Trolls, Tales of Gargenthir and the Judge Dredd rpg are all systems I'd love to run again.

The Yann Waters

Nobilis, of course, and Puppetland. And although it's been a while since I've run Mage: The Ascension (2e), I'm always willing to put together a scenario for the game whenever someone shows an interest in it.
Previously known by the name of "GrimGent".

Tommy Brownell

Marvel SAGA, which I plan on running in a couple of weeks.

Deadlands Classic is always a welcome game to run.

And I'm kicking around running either Angel or Little Fears for my wife.

I love Star Wars D6.

Traveller interested me but it look very complicated.   Is it a difficult system learn?

What makes the system so good?   I have never heard of the TSR version and I am interested.

There's an effort to provide a free version of the rules online.  See the link below:
