This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What games do you wish you were playing right now?

You wouldn't have to pay, I'd run it for free...if I enjoyed online play. I need to see the looks on my players faces when I unleash the "leave your world behind" goodness. I'm old fashioned that way :D

And that cover...I remember the day a buddy of mine (and the person who taught me nearly everything I know about GMing) handed me the boxed set and said "You're really gonna dig this..." Good times, good friend.

Or Battletech.

I thought Mechwarrior and Battletech were the same thing.
Anyway I want to play CoC, or Delta Green either one of them; also I would love to return to Pundits Qin campaing. And I want to run/play anything with Mechas, and Warhammer Fantasy or W40K.

Ahh, if only.  I understand what you mean, though.  In a perfect world...

Mechwarrior is the RPG version of Battletech.

D&D 3.5

I'm keeping track of a high-powered Realms campaign with an unstable player group, as I know the DM.  I'm on the short list of replacements should the two or three suspect players do as expected and either quit or get kicked.  As for running the game, I have both my own Realms campaign and a Greyhawk game on the backburner waiting for my current game to end.

I currently play D&D at least once a week, if not two or three times.

I'd love to play:

1. Hordes. I have a Legion start set and a few blisters, but I still haven't gotten around to painting them. A few people at work play, so it's just a matter of painting my miniatures and organizing games. I think I'm a bit inimidated by the figs. I doubt I can do them justice.

2. LBB Traveller. James Maliszewski had a few posts about Trav in his LJ that finally clued me into why the game is so good. I bought the original boxed set and a couple of adventures, and I'd love to run or play this. Of course, I'd fiddle with the rules a bit...

3. Hollow Earth Expedition. The first pulp game I really want to play.

4. Shadowrun 4e. I love Shadowrun, and it's been too long since I had a chance to play or run it.

5. Battlelore. The game looks really cool, and I've gotten a couple plays in, but not enough.

Thanks, Mike! That's high praise coming from you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help make your dream a reality. I'm working on the sample adventure that will be going into Secrets of the Surface World and it'll be needing playtesting....
