This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Do these exist in any format for WFRP?  I'm guessing not because the game is less focused on combat/accumulation of wealth than D&D, but I'm still curious.
Quote from: Black Vulmea;530561Y\'know, I\'ve learned something from this thread. Both B.T. and Koltar are idiots, but whereas B.T. possesses a malign intelligence, Koltar is just a drooling fuckwit.

So, that\'s something, I guess.

One Horse Town

I did a random treasure generator based on slaughter margin for v2. It was on the old Black Industries site, but i have no idea where it is now. I think someone did an archive of all the stuff on there. So maybe search for BI Archive?

I think Dave Graffam did a more indepth one too.

Games I Like: Wayfarers, AD&D, Dark Heresy, Call of Cthulhu, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Skywalker

I think the GM Screen for 2e had random encounter charts. Not sure though.

And the Border Princes book had random kingdom creation book which was like an instant campaign generator.

RPGPundit

I've seen at least a couple of these; but I don't know where they'd be found today. They were fan works, if I'm remembering correctly.

As a follow-up question, what do the PCs spend their treasure on?  The WFRP 2e core book is woefully slim in terms of fun things to buy--a best-quality weapon or two with best-quality armor are all desirable, but there's nothing else that really grabs my attention aside from healing potions.

I'm considering allowing players to trade crowns for XP like in older editions of D&D.

They're supposed to buy a barge.

Then you're supposed to sink the barge.

Now that's underhanded.

What you do is lure them into a game of dice/cards with a cardsharp, then make them gamble the barge away!

Real estate, retainers, retirement, lucky charms, piss packs, best quality equipment, horses, therapy are the normal ones.

The Old World Armory helps in this regard, but at 4000 XP we are only now decked out in the Best Quality equipment we wanted. BQ = lot of money.

Underhanded?  No, it's classic.
