This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

OK, so you got Lion & Dragon... now What?

Quote from: Willie the Duck;1025048Tentatively agree that one needs to be aggressive in the self-promotion -- although this board alone I've seen the downside of someone going overboard with that (and Zweihander was positively toxic even before the impersonation thing). However, if not this, what is the promotions sub-forum for?

Well, I'll call it the one perk of being the owner of the forum. It's not like I'm forcing anyone to read it.

Also, I've always been pretty generous with regular posters writing about their own games on here.

I find this all very entertaining. A reflection(some need to look into their mirrors)of what is going on in the world at large.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!! L&D good stuff. Scary for some...Can't wait to see what your next project will be.

Well, not only am I very glad I bought L&D, but I was wrong about the system-specific stuff. I'll be houseruling a few things into my D&D game after reading that. So glad I have the book on the way as it's going to be even more useful than Dark Albion (not to mention easier to carry).

Also, kudos for being the first ever D&D-based game that my wife's glanced at over my shoulder and expressed an interest in playing. She's done a lot of gaming over the years, but D&D has never ever appealed to her before (even the Warcraft d20 version, and she's WOW daft).
Running: RC D&D, 5e D&D, Delta Green

Well, my 'next project' is happening right now: RPGPundit Presents, where I release one short (cheap!) OSR supplement per week. Half of them are focused on "medieval authentic" OSR play, which are default supplements for Lion & Dragon (though you can also use them in most other OSR games).  The other half are "Gonzo", and usable in any OSR game but inspired by my epic Post-Apocalyptic Fantasy DCC campaign, "Last Sun".
