This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Ah good to see someone else on this planet has a refined palate (and an ability to make it through the poor book layout)! ;)

... heh, you beat me to it Mr Foster. We'll have to make a (very) small club for the "Aficionado's of Mythus"

OK that's hilarious! I just assumed your post was a response to mine, but the fact that you were making it independently at the same time I was making mine increases the humor value by about a million percent:rotfl:

Wow. You're counting it as a game? It isn't to me.
It's one of the best setting books ever, but it's not a full game.

Quote from: jdurall;369936No love for ElfQuest or Hawkmoon?

I did play both games but got stuck in ElfQuest due to not knowing the setting at the time and in Hawkmoon we always got killed at the start of each session.

I also missed off Prince Valiant as we did have some good beer & pretzels games with that.

Tetsubo

#73
3.5/Pathfinder
Gamma World 4th Edition (1992)
Everstone
Savage Worlds
Mutants & Masterminds
Cyberpunk 2020

I think this all I could reasonably call 'favorite'.

VectorSigma

1. AD&D 2e (we had the longest & best campaigns with this one - but I acknowledge that was as much a function of who we were during that period as anything)

2. Marvel Super Heroes (FASERIP) (probably #1 in the 'go-to game' category)

3. TMNT & Other Strangeness (I still want to re-do this game)

4. Cyberpunk 2020 (played the bejeezus out of this one)

5. Vampire: The Masquerade (despite any current bitterness I display, I did have quite a lot of fun with that game)
Wampus Country - Whimsical tales on the fantasy frontier

"Describing Erik Jensen\'s Wampus Country setting is difficult"  -- Grognardia

"Well worth reading."  -- Steve Winter

"...seriously nifty stuff..." -- Bruce Baugh

"[Erik is] the Carrot-Top of role-playing games." -- Jared Sorensen, who probably meant it as an insult, but screw that guy.

"Next con I\'m playing in Wampus."  -- Harley Stroh
