Just ordered some stuff for the second printing of this game and was looking for people's thoughts on it. The idea of running a pulpy dungeon crawl, archaeologist descending into a long forgotten tomb with a S&W .44 in hand ejector is very appealing :)
I got the Kickstarter and its C&C with guns, but I knew that going in. The classes are good - nothing amazing - but there is enough meat in the core book to run a modern era dungeon campaign.
I am hoping to run a couple sessions this year.
I've played a few sessions and I like the game, but I'm also a big C&C fan so that makes sense. I agree that running an Indiana Jones sort of adventure is pretty cool, and I particularly like to mix some Robert E Howard mythos stuff in with it.
I bought A&A and Sine Nomine's Silent Legions to combine the two. I prefer darker stuff than pulp, but the combo looked like Action Horror which I am hoping will work at the table.
Shotguns & Dragons. I'm cool with that.
I should also point out that the Amazing Adventures Companion book is really cool.

Full of GM advice and other goodies. :D
Well, my AA order just came in. Got the new 2nd printing hardback, the manual of monsters and the companion :) Lots of reading in my future.
Bah. There's Two-Fisted Tales for this.
And Dicey Tales Complete will be out this year.
