Okay I'm thinking this http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/2677919.stm would make a great setting. There is also an upcoming documentary on the subject. So any thoughts on systems, sourcebooks that would be helpful in running something like this. Also by all means, if you know of any research materials - interesting articles etc, or just any ideas, please feel free to share :)

University libraries almost always have huge egyptian sections. Look up one specific title to lead you to the proper section and then you can browse. I suggest the "Oxford History of ancient Egypt" as a cool place to start. If you speak Archaeology there are lots and lots of cool books you could get stuff out of.
