Forked from the Mearls thread, it's put up or shut up time.
Stat Indiana Jones using the roleplaying system of your choice.
The only ground rule: you must follow the rules as written. No house ruling to make something "fit." If you can't do it with the tools you're handed, then you can't do it.
It's deja-vu all over again! (http://www.therpgsite.com/showthread.php?t=16281)
On topic, ISTR that GDW posted Traveller (specifically, MegaTraveller) stats for Indiana Jones (and Han Solo and Rick Deckard) in one of the issues of their short-lived "Imperiallines" newsletter (c. 1991-92).
The only reason being they were to hand, I am using the PHB 3.5
Indiana Jones
Human Rogue
6th level
Str 14(+2)
Dex 13(+1)
Con 13(+1)
Int 17(+3) - 4th level ability increase
Wis 15(+2)
Cha 14(+2)
HP: 30
AC: 11
BaB: +4
Fort: +2
Ref: +5
Will: +2
Trapfinding
Evasion
Trap Sense +2
Uncanny Dodge
Sneak Attack +3d6
Skills: (Not 100% sure I added them correctly)
4 Appraise (Int, +3): 1
6 Bluff (Cha, +2): 4
12 Decipher Script (Int, +3): 9
9 Disable Device (Int, +3): 6
10 Gather Information (Cha, +2): 8
4 Listen (Wis, +2): 2
11 Profession, Archeology (Wis, +2): 9
11 Search (Int, +3): 8
12 Knowledge, Religion (Int, +3): 9
12 Knowledge, History (Int, +3): 9
12 Knowledge, Geography (Int, +3): 9
12 Knowledge, Local (Int, +3): 9
Feats
Simple Weapon Proficiency
Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Whip
Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Hand Crossbow
Diligent (+2 Appraise and Decipher Script)
Investigator (+2 Gather Information and Search)
As I mentioned before, if you want to divorce the quasi-medieval stuff, Hand Crossbow can be switched to Pistol. Otherwise, except for the skills I may not have calculated correctly, there is the D&D 3.5 version of Indiana Jones.

That right there is why I'm not a fan of the Amber system. This tells me nothing. You might as well give me his profile on Yahoo Personals to use in a game.
These are stats from 2e AD&D, Ravenloft, Masque of the Red Death:
Indiana Jones; 14th level Human Tradesman (AC 8; MV 12, HP 68; #AT 1 or 1 or 6; DMG 1d2+1 [whip] or 1d2+1 [fist] or 2d6+1 [army pistol]; STR 16, INT 17, WIS 16 DEX 16 CON 17, CHA 17; WP army pistol, machete, navy pistol, pocket knife, rifle, whip; NWP Academician, Appraising, Archaeology [2 slots], Artillery [2 slots], Climb Walls, Find/Remove Traps [2 slots], Forbidden Lore, Gunsmithing, Language [Modern; English], Pugilism, Read Languages, Savoir-Faire, Survival; AL NG; SZ M; XP nil; equipment: bullwhip, army pistol, box of 25 rounds [army pistol], fedora, jacket)

The joke being that you can't really stat Indiana Jones, or any other mere mortal, in Amber. It operates on a totally different power level.

You mean like
Nobilis?
Here's my write-up for "classic"
Traveller, cross-posted from the other thread:
Scientists 8A8AC7 Age 34 4 Terms Cr 10000, Handgun
Brawling-2, Handgun-1, Instruction-1, Jack-o-T-3
Technically, I lose, because I substituted the Instruction skill for the automatic Computer skill that Scientists receive automatically. It made better sense than making Indy a Hunter or Barbarian -- the Jack of all Trades skill is really vital to the character.
!i!

What? No Fedora and no Bull Whip?
Amber sucks. :)

You could add those to the description. The Bull Whip might even have a point or two in it, given how many unusual things Indy has managed to do with it.
