I have the Savage Worlds Explorer Edition but no supplement for it. Lately I've been reading about SW settings and these two, Hellfrost and Sundered Skies, have caught my eye.
What books do you need to get into them? What have you done with these settings?
Hellfrost is a standard fantasy setting with a strong Scandinavian flavor. Magic does not use the power point system of the Explorer Edition. We have mostly used it for quick-n-dirty one-shots and played a few of the published adventures.
The Player's Guide is important, and the Bestiary is well stocked with fantasy beasts. The Gazetteer is probably the least important for actual play, and is largely a dry read.
The folks at Triple Ace support the game well with regular modules and expansions in PDF format.
Overall it is a solid game. Fun, easy to pick-up and not overly detailed.
Hellfrost needs 3 books to be complete.
Sundered Skies needs only the setting book itself, nothing more.

I do not actually believe you need all three books to play Hellfrost, only if you are a completest. The Gazetteer itself entirely optional and system independent, any fantasy atlas or home-brew setting will do. With the Bestiary, it is nice to have pre-generated bad guys that can be used in any Savage Worlds setting. The Player's Guide (and Explorers Edition) is really the only book you will need to play.
