Title: Recording Online Gaming Sessions
Post by: Batjon on November 07, 2020, 11:54:03 PM
Lately I've been experimenting with recording my online gaming sessions by using my external Samson G-Track Pro mic and Vocaroo to record the sound coming out of my Bose desktop speakers but this hasn't been optimal.  A few times something will happen and the system changes the default mic or something similar and will suddenly stop recording and I will lose either the entire session or the majority of the session.

Is there a better way to do this? What equipment would I need?

I think the first thing we need to know, are you recording in person games or online games?

There's an earlier thread that simply titled Online games.  Couldn't figure out how to link it from here on my phone, but I break down my setup which is mostly free software.

A friend of mine uses the Craig bot for our discord sessions and that seems to be trustworthy.  Well, at least he has not mentioned any glitches.  :-)
