My homepage is MSNBC.com and today when I logged on I was greeted by this article:

"Sunny, with a chance of rocket propelled grenades".
Somehow, I am going to work that into a game setting. Possibly as the title of a scenario, or just as a comment by a NPC.
Sounds like the name of a Paranoia troubleshooter mission to me.
Film quotes are more apt.
"You're Lord of Jack and shit and Jack just left town."
Evil Dead III (or Medieval Dead, if you prefer).
"Mission Accomplished" seems to make it into a number of our counter terrorism sessions.

I like these, but my games tend towards the martial anyway... (http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/d/dwight_d_eisenhower.html)

Cheating, but anything from here:

In particular, this one:
Thomas Daggett: Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?
I love that movie.
Mongol General: What is best in life?
Conan: To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.
Conan the Barbarian
Fifteen million dollars is not money. It's a motive with a universal adaptor on it.
The Way of the Gun
Frank White: When the D.A's office investigated the sudden death of Arty Clay, they found that he left a $13 million estate. How do you explain that? There there's Larry Wong, who owned half of Chinatown when he passed away. Larry used to rent his tenements to Asian refuges, his own people, for $800 a month to share a single toilet on the same floor. How 'bout King Tito? He had thirteen-year-old girls hooking for him on the street. Those guys are dead because I don't want to make money that way. Emil Zappa, the Mata brothers, they're dead because they were running this city into the ground.
Roy Bishop: You expected to get away with killing all these people?
Frank White: I spent half my life in prison. I never got away with anything, and I never killed anybody that didn't deserve it.
Roy Bishop: Who made you judge and jury?
Frank White: Well, it's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.
King of New York
Bryant: They jumped a shuttle off-world, killed the crew and passengers. We found the shuttle drifting off the coast two weeks ago, so we know they're around.
Deckard: Embarrassing.
Bryant: No sir. Not embarrassing, because no one's ever going to find out they're down here. 'Cause you're gonna spot 'em and you're gonna air 'em out!
Deckard: I don't work here anymore. Give it to Holden. He's good.
Bryant: I did. He can breathe okay, as long as nobody unplugs him.
Blade Runner
Hunters for gold or pursuers of fame, they all had gone out on that stream, bearing the sword, and often the torch, messengers of the might within the land, bearers of a spark from the sacred fire. What greatness had not floated on the ebb of that river into the mystery of an unknown earth! . . . The dreams of men, the seed of commonwealths, the germs of empires.
Heart of Darkness
I have a scenario in my D&D campaign that leads up to a paraphrased movie quote. The group gains a demigod as a patron and eventually it becomes common knowledge in the land. The leader of a powerful thieves' guild contacts the group and offers them great treasures to set up a meeting with the demigod. When they inevitably ask why he wants to meet the patron, he says: "I'm gonna make him an offering he can't refuse."
"Fuck you asshole" .... spoken in a robotic manner with a heavy German accent. :)
I can't find out the name of the guy but I heard it in an Interview with a French field commander in the 1st Gulf war in relation to the American focus on bombing and airstrikes and unwillingness to go in on foot and finish the job.
"Who are these people that they are so willing to kill for their beliefs but so unwilling to die for them"
Sounds like a Frog all right.
And it reminds me of Patton: "I don't want you to die for your country... i want you to make that OTHER sonofabitch die for HIS country!"
