I keep running across rumors that Privateer Press is getting out of the RPG business, can I get a confirm or deny on this rumor?
I think it'd be a tragedy if they did because the Iron Kingdoms setting is an excellent sorcery & steam adventuring area. I've always been very fond of the Iron Kingdoms and their products supporting it have always been good quality.
Iron Kingdoms is a great setting, but I somehow doubt it makes even half of what the most excellent WARMACHINE does. I'd be sad to see them withdraw, though.
I'm tight with Nate Letsinger; I'll e-mail him tonight when I get home.

That would be greatly appreciated.
No sweat, I need to e-mail him anyway; it's time I did.
Took me a while, but...
'Kay. Natebot sez he can't comment, but he did stop production on a title when 4th Ed was announced.

Well, I guess I wait for an official position on the subject. Thanks, though.
(I'm pretty sure that the rumormongers will take this and run with it as evidence to support whatever they believe. :D )
Wouldn't matter to me much either way.
I playe WM a couple of times and it was OK and I didn't think their RPG stuff was bad but it didn't blow my socks off.
I like Warmachine a lot. I always thought they could have designed the Iron Kingdoms with rp rules that seemed to have more to do with WM than D&D.
This would be a good opportunity to do that, if they wanted to.
I wonder if someone didn't hear whispers of PP going to a house system for their RPG materials (something fans have wanted for a long time), and that someone took "withdrawing from the d20 OGL" as withdrawing from the RPG side of things.
