This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[Poll] Are you happy with your gaming?

I clicked Other.  I'm starting a new campaign tonight that I am thrilled about.  I've gamed with all these people before and they understand what kind of game they can expect from me, so it ought to be a rockin' good time.  Still, I can't fairly evaluate my happiness with this game yet.

And I wouldn't mind finding a new campaign where I can be a player.

I'm somewhat happy. We have too many rules arguments for my tastes, but apart from that it's cool.

I'm somewhat happy. I'd like to play more often than I do, but my schedule doesn't permit it. When I'm actually playing, I enjoy it a great deal.

Sure am. My buddy's running a Star Wars D20 game that's lots of fun, and I'm running a supers game that the boys seem to be enjoying.

We've had a player sidelined due to some real-life issues, but all is well, in general.

I almost clicked "Other" simply to register my desire for a "FUCK YES!" category above and beyond "extremely happy," but it seemed silly.

I clicked extremely happy. I mean if I'm gaming it's got to to be good...very good. I would not play if I was going to have an okay experience. I've got better things to do with my free time.

Exactly.  My main problem is that I (and the people I role-play with) don't have enough time to do more of it.

A few years ago, for three years in a row, a few of us took a series of Fridays off in the Summer to role-play.  That's right.  Using vacation days to role-play, inside, on some fine summer days.  I think that suggests some people pretty happy with their role-playing.

Hmm, there's nothing between somewhat happy and very happy, so I chose somewhat happy.  :p

I enjoy my gaming, but wish I could game more!  :)
