This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Narf,

Thank you and again what I've been saying.

Well I have had a couple of nearly fatal bear-related ranger encounters (at 3rd level or so), caused by underestimating what bears could do ("what? I didn't know they had a 40ft speed, they look so slow..." and "oh, they can climb..."). Evidently I should learn my lesson...

Remember: Any bear you can see with your unaided eye, is close enough to chase down, kill and eat you.
The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

Some ranger...
Yeah, but who gives a fuck? You? Jibba?

Well congrats. No one else gives a shit, so your arguments are a waste of breath.

The first thing I would do is shit someplace besides the woods. I mean, everyone expects that.

Nightfall

So far I think this is the best thread I've seen on these boards in some time.

Especially the comedic aspects. :)

People might trust the bear, unlike the gnome in its native shape.

The Fez might hint at its gnomish nature. A dangerous risk, or merely a smug, cruel taunt?

It's a magical fez. He's not going to just leave it behind now that he's a bear...

Drohem

I would just keep him as a bear and have it rise in Hit Dice as the character companion rises in levels.

Have a small dark skinned boy and a black leopard show up asking where he's been... ;)
