Just ran across other new stuff from WotC at Amazon
Cityscape (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786939397/ref=pd_sbs_b_1/102-4114374-7959336?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155) - I'm assuming this is going to be a city building book or you could almost consider it a terrain book in the vein of Sandstorm and Frostburn.
Complete Mage (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786939370/ref=pd_sbs_b_2/102-4114374-7959336?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155) - Okay we already have Complete Arcane so I'm not really sure what will be in this one.
Dragon Magic (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786939362/ref=pd_sbs_b_3/102-4114374-7959336?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155) - So I'm assuming this is stuff dealing with dragons and magic that wasn't in the Dragonomicon and Races of the Dragon.
Dragons of Faerun (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786939230/qid=1141851540/ref=br_lf_b_14/102-4114374-7959336?n=4445&s=books&v=glance) - Covering the various dragon types specific to Forgotten Realms I'm assuming. Perhaps with stuff on specific dragons.
And we already know about stuff like Players Handbook II, Monster Manual IV, and Complete Psionics.
Cityscape could be very interesting - Mearls is on staff over there now, and he wrote Cityworks, so he's got a pretty solid handle on how to deal with that kind of a sourcebook.
Dragon Magic may be some kind of update to draconomicon material, because IIRC draconomicon is 3rd edition straight.
Complete Mage? no idea why we're feeling the need to further expand this, unless we're doing incarnum and tome of magic tie-in complete books now.

Draconomicon is 3.5, thank you very much. :p
I am getting at least one of those books, Dragon Magic, and I might get Dragons of Faerûn™ as well, particularly if it has updates on the Brown, Deep, and Song dragons.
Hmm, the city book is by Mearls? I may actually buy my first D&D book in years :)
As long as Kestrel and a couple others names aren't on them I'm good to go.
Cityscape is going to take number one of my must have list.
Hmm. cityscape is listed on amazon as having Ari Marmell and C.A. Suleiman for writers. at this point though, its so far out that i'm not sure I trust amazon's listing, and even if it's written by them, I'm wondering about the editorial process.
:shrugh: we shall see, eventually, how it is.

well, you're right, my bad. I just didn't have access to my books when I wrote that.

Well, this
is the Year of
making Krishnath spooge uncontrollably the Dragon at WotC...

I know for sure Ari is on there. He was bragging about it on that other forum.
these other books don't catch my eye so much. still, i'll check them out all the same.

I thought that Races of the Dragon was pretty good. But you can't please everyone, I guess. :)
