So we concluded our m&m 2e game today.
Generally very good. I made it much for cerebral than it could have been by putting time travel at the centre. I that frustrated one player a bit.
I hadn't seen days of future past until friday night flying back from hk so it was odd as there were more than a couple of similarities especially an attack on the white house.
Any way the guys liked the game but felt the system was too complex.
The next campaign will be a d&d 5e game but they wanted some mindless fun first. One of them suggested myth eaters and cited a game where the pcs hunt santa. I can find no record of it online. Anyone heard of it and any feedback?
I haven't seen a game on those lines but I have seen a Finish movie along those lines: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/rare_exports/
And in a sort of similar vein, there's Trollhunter: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1740707/
I've never heard the term "myth eaters"; is that a specific reference?
There is an rpg book from WW called "Geist: The Sin-Eaters".
