Gentlemen and Ladies,

First let me say I am aware this forum has a News & Adverts thread, but given the product in question has not come out yet, I choose to post here. My apologies to the Mods in advance in case I have made a mistake.

I have just sold my first gaming manuscript as a freelancer. A small affair, just a few pages long, for the new line of Traveller products Skortched Urf Studios is going to release.

The person in charge of the company liked what he saw enough to order a new one right away.

Forgive my lack of humility if I confess to be feeling above the clouds. I guess I'm a paid author now.

I know many here are published authors (some even self-published) or even the heads of gaming companies. I am not writing this in an attempt to claim a membership in some "club" or anything similar.

I simply want to share my happiness with you. It is a wonderful feeling when someone deems what you wrote is a good enough product to sell.

My character sheet was inexistant, and when I hastly made one the GM didn\'t care to have a look at it."

That's awesome -- congratulations! I know I was over the moon this November when I was in a position to write cheques for all the VSCA authors for Q3. :D It really makes the process real, yeah?

Again, congrats, and thanks for sharing your enthusiasm.

Very cool!  You must be on Cloud 9 just now!  And there's always room for more Traveller products!

"Dr.Who and CoC are, on the level of what the characters in it do, unbelievably freaking similar. The main difference is that in Dr. Who, Nyarlathotep is on your side, in the form of the Doctor."

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.

Hey make no apologies or disclaimers.

You got something published and have a publisher clamoring for more, so go ahead and rock out with your bad self.

I'm always glad o see new game designers of any stripe with something to contribute to gaming.

Kudos!
