I know there are fans of this game hereabouts, so I'm reposting this from The Acaeum (http://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6488):

Yep, I bought this and it is a high quality electronic book. They are also working on getting the ME 1e book available as a POD title by Christmas. I haven't heard any recent updates on the status, but I'm excited to buy a print version of this classic whenever it does become available. I personally really like the game and system. It's crusty old-school fun!
I will have to buy this - the original is prohibitively expensive on eBay. Thanks!
Good bargain.
I remember reading this book a long while back; the system was crap but the detail about the starship itself was pretty awesome.

that's what i'd get it for, too. the game itself never had any appeal for me. but details on a huge starship? killer!
I've been waiting for this to become available. I never managed to get hold of a copy, and having it as a pdf is pretty cool. I hope Gamma World, the original Boot Hill, and Top Secret show up.
Oh snap! I didn't realize this was the original. I'll be picking this up if it is still available after xmas.
