OK, so one last time, what's the final tally for RPGsiters that will be making it to Gen Con this year?
As always, I will be doing my (hopefully massive) liveblog from there on this site and RPG Blog 2, so if you can't go, I'll do my best to make sure we cover what you want covered.
Oh, and if you're looking to see more of the show or for something to do, I did just release my Gen Con Scavenger Hunt (http://www.rpgblog2.com/2009/08/zacks-2009-gen-con-scavenger-hunt.html) (print it out, but try not to peek until the show!).
I'll be there Friday and Saturday.
Enjoy yourselves, guys.

I'll be there - and In Klingon Gear to do the charity jail thing again.
(after skipping last year because of scheduling/finance problems)Zach,
It'd be nice to see a friendly facve stop by our table. For reasons I'd rather go into via PM - I will be mich more stressed this year.
- Ed C.
I plan on making my first Gen Con trip next year, if I can save up enough $ for it.
I'll be there Saturday, and maybe Sunday.
Scheduled to run a Starsiege game on Saturady night at 9, Free otherwise to try new games, shop, etc.
I will be there. I am getting there Wednesday (getting there early) and will be there until Sunday. I will be working in the West End Games booth
Wahoo! I'll be there Thursday to Sunday. Have many games to play. The Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers game I was anxiously looking forward to playing is cancelled. Bummer.
Looking to buy Septimus, a Talisman expansion (any recommendations) and whatever else strikes my eye.
I will be there Wed. to Sunday.

First one.
Tuesday to Sunday.
Game slots still open for spycraft (unofficial). Inquire within. :)
[Sorry for the thread derail]
Caesar (Hail and all that), I played Spycraft at GenCon a few years ago and I have to say, it was horrible to put it charitably. If I can find your unofficial Spycraft game, is it going to rock?
Here is what I did not like about the game I played a few years ago:
1. In a four hour time slot we took 2 hours to create characters.
2. We were sent on a mission but was not given any equipment. The GM said the Agency did not give you any equipment and you have what you bought at chargen. He did not explain why a spy agency would send out it's spies without equipping them.
3. Combats took forever. In the two hours we played, we had one combat and it took an hour.
Will your game correct these (perceived by me) deficiencies?
If so, I might want to give it another whirl.
Thanks!
Eric

1) There will be pre-generated characters. In circles I usually playwith, I have some notoriety for my "dossiers".
2) You will have equipment, but it will be pre-chosen (from hard experience, shopping at the table with a group fresh to the characters is NOT a good idea.) As normal for the Spycraft 2.0 rules, you can request things from the agency during a mission.
3) A complicated combat situation might run an hour, but those don't tend to be "just" combat, but planning and situating. Last year when I ran, the 4 hour mission featured:
- Staking out a meeting of a suspected terrorist with a rogue scientist
- Tracking down one of the terrorist's accomplices at his home.
- A quick firefight with the terrorist leader on the streets
- Finding the terrorist's warehouse hideout
- Assault on the warehouse (major battle #1)
- False ending, transferring a spent nuclear core to the autorities.
- Heading to headquarters for a debrief, when the headquarters exploded.
- Investigating the cause of the explosion, and firefight with the perp
- Flying to and investigating the site on Barksdale AFB where the weapon was re-acquired by the real villains
- Assault on the real villain's base.
To be fair, that took more than 4 hours (more like 4 1/2), but I hope you can see that more than just one battle happened.
@GameDaddy - I'll pm when I get back from the store; pm me if you don't get it by tonight.
I'll be there as usual (booth number 1221 this year). Stop by and say hi!
